Cloth Nappies by Alison King is a fantastic resource for information on the alternatives to disposible nappies. I WISH it was around five years ago when I was a new Mum. We had to figure everything out for ourselves back then and it was overwhelming to get so much infomation and try and remember it all. This book is a great one stop shop for all of that information that I needed back then. I wish it had been written much earlier than now.Its concise, well written, VERY informative, it has lovely pictures to illustrate the different types of nappies, and its got a fantastic range or resources for new mums, and not so new mums, to go to for further information.
Well done Alison for publishing a much needed resource.

If I'd had "Cloth Nappies A comprehensive guide" by Alison King when we first started using cloth, I'd have been saved a lot of googling!
The guide starts by explaining some of the jargon used in the MCN world- the fabrics, the types of nappy and so on, and goes on to cover tips for using, storing and washing cloth nappies. The "troubleshooting" section is invaluable.
A lot of the information is almost certainly available somewhere on the great big world wide web, but Alison King has put it all in one place, gotten rid of the rubbish, and set it out clearly and concisely, and with an easy to read conversational tone- exactly what you need when you're a new Mum and every single decision seems to involve a mass of conflicting information! I wish I'd had this e-book a year ago, but I'm also glad to have it now, as who knows when a new issue will crop up?
