The world is interesting. I like how it seems to be building periodically from book to book. Their origins. The 'bad' guys. The heroine is STRONG. This is hard to find in this genre - if at all. But Crystal Dawn does not seem to write pathetic lead females. The hero is not perfect and he realizes it and still manages to pull off the alpha thing. The sex is generally pretty hot. I have been waiting for Lucifer's story and it did not disappoint. There are some issues with the book - this author does not suck you into the book. It takes about 3 chapters to really get used to her writing style (which I still can't put my finger on exactly what is off about it...) and really start seeing the characters - maybe too much tell- not enough show? This sometimes make the story a bit hard to follow as there are pages and pages of explanations or back-story without character interaction... But this book does come together and it was a fun read for a lazy Sunday afternoon.Also recommended: Kelly Lucille (especially her 'Keeping Her' series) and Jodi Vaughn ('Rise of the Arkansas Werewolves' series)

Great book can't wait to read about more demons.
This story had an interesting premise, it could have been great. However, there was a lot more telling then showing in the way this story was written. I did not finish the book because over all the writing style and the editing was very poor, it reminded me of something a middle schooler would have written.
I loved the book the main character Lucifer is so endearing. The charecters are well written and enjoyable. This book is definately a good read!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucifer the head Demon gets his book. The Demon we all have been waiting for. And he is a rock star - great fun book and more demons coming
Crystal has done it again. Lucifer runs right along the lines of the other demons and God's. Lucifer has his problems but things are changing. Will he find what he's looking for or will he live up to his name. A must read.
Another amazing read by Crystal Dawn! The way Lucifer experiences life and finds love is wonderful. I expected Lucifer to be beyond emotion or redemption but I'm glad I was wrong. This is a must read with a bit of action mixed in. I can't wait for the next in the series.
I was really looking forward to this book. Lucifer was so abused, but deep inside kind and thoughtful. I so wanted him to have a HEA. This book was good, but mainly a romance. There was some action that I greatly enjoyed during the last 20% of the book.
