This is one of the 1st series I bought after getting my Kindle. I don't think I realized at the time that it was a series & I certainly didn't realize at the time how these things can drag on. Also it was suppose to be 3 books & now author has extended it to 4 & I have to wait until late 2014 to finish this. I didn't get into this 'installment' like I did the first two & in a year I may very well have no interest in story any longer. At the very least I'll have to reread either all 3 or at least the 3rd one before I start the 4th one so I remember what is going on or to even get interested in the story enough again to be willing to spend money on another addition to the story. I'm getting tired of these series but if you're going to do a series like this, let's not stretch next one out for 1 - 1 1/2 year. I'm rating the story itself is 3 star but my frustration level for dragging story on would rate it a 1.5 stars.Product details

I love the way the writer makes these book thrilling, sad, upsetting and funny all at the same time. Great read! Now I can't wait to see what happens in the next book...wish it wasn't going to take so long to get out.
Have read the series numerous times and fall in love with them all over again!! It has a good plot, action, and romance!!
Really got into the action and was sad to read the third one. Will be looking for more from this author!
I downloaded the first book about nine months ago but just let it sit on my kindle for a while. Boy was that a mistake! What a totally engrossing, albeit far fetched, tale Ms. Ellis spins, and I immediately had to purchase the other two books to see how this played out. So happy to see it won't end here. Fun, fast, flirty, and downright fantastic, I absolutely cannot wait to see where this goes. I don't think I've ever been so torn and rooting for so many characters to all get their happy ending!!! Keep an open mind and you'll be cheerleading for them too!
After enjoying the first two of this series, I was really looking forward to the final chapters about her characters. What a disappointment. The story line became utterly ridiculous, absurd. I doubt I will ever read another Summer Ellis book. It seemed like she lost her momentum and talent for entertaining the reader. It was certainly missing the skill and creativity of real suspense.
This is a twist on some people's realities and I have so many mixed emotion. Alex has been shaped and molded into so many different and sometimes twisted personalities just to survive, but has ended up entegrating them into her life. I feel so sorry for her and the mess of emotions she has to sort out. I was hoping for a happy ending for her and Cale...maybe even a surprise she never expected. I wish I could continue into their lives.
This was the third installment of the cartel series.I loved the character progression throughout each book. The suspense and intense sex scenes were incredible. Each book followed creative development. I am excited to see where Alex ends up. I suggest the sites to anyone who wants to read a romantic thriller that definitely is not the typical romance novel. The only thing I wish is there was a way to be alerted for any further installments. GREAT READ!!!!
